Alexandre Rago — Wildlife Photographer

I am a Brazilian wildlife photographer, and I found in nature more than a subject — I found a purpose and a new way of seeing the world.

My work is driven by the pursuit of real, spontaneous and rare moments. More than capturing images, I seek to observe, understand and respect animal behavior within its natural habitat.

I am especially drawn to images where the animal is not isolated from its world, but seen as part of the habitat, the atmosphere and the life around it.

Wildlife photography demands patience, technical skill and, above all, sensitivity. Each image is the result of hours — sometimes days — of waiting, reading the environment and maintaining absolute respect for nature and the animals that are part of it.

I believe photography has the power to bring people closer to wildlife and inspire a deeper awareness of the importance of preserving ecosystems.

Every image I create carries a true story — experienced in the field, without interference or staging — just nature in its most authentic form.
